kiss me here.
finally, you have kissed me, you’ve held me down and made me give
and colored me red, like your anger, green, like remember when
oh the silence in the car
I wasn’t thinking I wasn’t thinking I wasn’t thinking
tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over
morning and a warning and a wager
your sometime need is split in two
and the mortar sits still in the vortex of anger
not over, when will it kill us all
I wasn’t thinking I wasn’t thinking I wasn’t thinking
tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over and
I wasn’t thinking I wasn’t thinking I wasn’t thinking
tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over
over me
over me over me over me
and under me
howling, the valley thundering
I would pass through you if you asked me to
silent head, heavy and resting
rest for the ending is rolled up in my tongue
I wasn’t thinking I wasn’t thinking I wasn’t thinking
tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over tell me when it’s over…

It may not be a full-fledged LP, but All Delighted People is probably my favourite of Sufjan's works. Without an overaching album theme to tie the songs together, it felt like Sufjan was free to experiment on each track and give them their own unique sound. And because of that (and Sufjan's talent), every track on there is a standout track. Angkasawan
